Come learn the art of
Hand building Pottery!
Join me for a 4 week pottery course, meeting once a week for 2-3 hours. During this time I will teach different hand building techniques, a base education for how the process works start to finish, and bring you along that process to make fully finished items by the end of your course.
*This class is currently targeted towards adults. If you have a child who is interested in pottery, please fill out the form below. I would love to talk about the possibility of kids classes!
4 Week Hand Building Course
For the month - $200
This price includes 8lbs of clay, shared tools, glazes, kiln services, and 8+ hours of class time. You won’t need anything but your hands and imagination!
Extra Studio Time
Extra week or extra studio time - $50 / 2hrs
If you need or want some extra time to work on a project, you can sign up for extra studio time with me. This has to be scheduled at least 48hrs in advance.
Supplies
Extra Clay & Personal set of tools - Starting at $15
You will have shared tools to use during this class, however, if you would like your own personal set, I can provide that for you for $15.
8lbs of clay is enough to make the projected 4 projects during this class. If you would like to make something larger, or want to have extra at the end of the class, I can provide you with a full 25lb bag of clay for $25.

Schedule for this class:
Week 1 - Sunday October 4th - Introduction to pottery, start our first group project.
Week 2 - Sunday October 11th - Continue building your pieces. Final day to start a project.
Week 3 - Sunday October 18th - Cleaning up your pieces, adding any carvings & signing your name.
Skip a week - We need time for your pieces to fully dry before I can do the bisque firing. This week allows for the dry time.
Week 4 - Sunday November 1st - Time to glaze! You can pick between paint on glazes, or using underglaze to paint art on your items. I will explain the difference during class.
Pick up - Sometime within 7 days of completing your projects I will have them ready to pick up. I will send out a message when everything is ready!
